Our home made laundry soap has been a rousing success. The clothes are clean and fresh smelling. I have a little laundry tip to share. Whether by the kitchen sink or the laundry area, a few inexpensive craft brushes come in really handy. Small ones will reach into all those little crevasses on sippy cups or any tight areas on dishes, down in small bottles. In the laundry they are great for dabbing detergent onto stained or soiled spots. I keep a couple standing up in a glass jar beside the kitchen sink so I can grab them quick, and this one inch one on the laundry shelf to dab laundry. A quick rinse in the wash water and it goes back on the shelf.
And of course there is always the essential old toothbrush as well. Two tools I wouldn't be without.
Thanks for the laundry tips! Good to keep in mind. I know I have some extra brushes laying around somewhere...
