things that only girls do...

"things that only girls do..." That's what Jordy calls it when she wants to spend time with Gramma alone doing things like baking, or makeup, or doing our hair.

Thursday Hunter had to go with Mommy for his physical therapy, and Isaiah was taking a nap, so Jordy and I baked. We made small quiches for Grampa and I for our supper, which she refused to call "quiche". She would only call them "cheese pies". We also made cookies for her to take on their camping trip, but she really liked them so I don't know how many actually made it to camping.

A funny thing that happened is that when it was time to pick out a movie she stood in front of the kid's movie shelf with her hand on her hip and her other hand raised with her finger touching her lips as she ruminated to herself, "So... Hunter's not here...so I can watch something...boring...with girl stuff..."

So funny! I had a hard time not laughing...which is not appreciated these days now that she is growing into a young lady! So fun to watch her little mind work through the intricacies of being a big girl.
